Forestry Doors carries Lexan/Polycarbonate windshield replacements for the Caterpillar C Series, fitting the 246C, 256C, 262C, 262C2, 272C, 277C, 277C2, 279C, 279C2, 287C, 287C2, 289C, 289C2, 297C, and 299C skid steers. Several D Series machines share the same frame and are also covered, including the 272D, 272DXHP, 299D, and 299DXHP.

Replacement panels are manufactured to fit OEM glass part numbers 258-4071 and 380-9966, with mounting holes duplicated to align with your existing door hardware. Clear panels are available for maximum visibility, and a tinted option is available for operators dealing with glare or extended sun exposure. Both options are coated for abrasion resistance and offer the same impact and weight advantages as the rest of our polycarbonate lineup, approximately 250 times stronger than conventional glass at half the weight. Milled edges simplify door seal installation on both. Hardware is not included.

If you're unsure whether your machine takes a C Series or D Series windshield, check the door frame against the product photos before ordering. The overlap between the two lineups means frame style, not just model year, determines the right fit.
