These windshields do not have the two wiper motor mounting holes milled out. This matches the design used by our previous manufacturer, and we currently have hundreds of these windshields successfully installed in the field without issue.
Installation is simply performed a little differently depending on your machine setup and the length of the wiper motor studs/bolts.
Installation Options & Recommendations
If additional clearance is needed to pass the wiper motor studs through the windshield, the rubber gasket/spacer behind the wiper motor can be removed. Silicone may be applied during reinstallation if desired on the motor in place of the gasket, but it is not required.
The rubber grommets for the studs may be used or omitted depending on your preference and setup.
We strongly recommend installing a washer larger than the hole on the outside before tightening the nut. This acts similarly to the factory-style retaining bracket used on newer 2020-style models.
A rubber-backed washer is ideal, but a standard washer will also work properly.
