John Deere Cab Door Upper Glass – Replaces OEM #FYD00006274
This is an aftermarket replacement for the upper glass panel in the cab door of John Deere 26G and 35G compact (mini) excavators, replacing OEM part #FYD00006274. It is the large top pane of the operator's door, above the separate lower door glass (FYD00006276).
The panel is 4 mm green-tinted tempered safety glass, DOT certified, with no mounting holes. It is tapered: 515 mm (20.28") at its widest, 430 mm (16.93") at its narrowest and 705 mm (27.76") high. Published shipping weight is about 15 lb.

It is a tapered pane, not a rectangle. Sellers list it at 515 mm (20.28") at its widest, 430 mm (16.93") at its narrowest and 705 mm (27.76") tall, so measure both the wide and narrow edges of your old glass when comparing.
Will FYD00006274 fit a John Deere 30G?
Parts sellers list this pane only for the 26G and 35G. Deere's G-Series mini excavator brochure says the 30G shares its operator's station (cab or canopy) with the 35G, so call 765-310-3053 with your serial number and we will confirm before you order.
What are the part numbers of the other glass panes in the 26G / 35G cab?
Aftermarket listings for the same cab show the front upper windshield as FYD00006271, front lower as FYD00006272, lower door as FYD00006276, left front side as FYD00006278, left rear side as FYD00006280 and rear window as FYD00006282. This listing, FYD00006274, is the upper door pane only.
Does a canopy-model 35G use this door glass?
No. This pane is only for machines with the enclosed cab. Deere's 35G spec sheet lists the canopy as standard and the ROPS/TOPS/FOPS cab with heater and air conditioning as an option.
If I bond the glass with urethane, how long before my 35G can go back to work?
PartsOnline's John Deere excavator glass guide, demonstrated on a 35G, says to let urethane cure 12–24 hours before returning the machine to service and to follow the adhesive maker's guidelines. The same guide warns never to mix urethane and silicone.
