CAT D Series skid steers cover a wide range of frame sizes and configurations, and getting the right replacement glass matters. Forestry Doors stocks windshield replacements and complete frame and windshield packages built specifically for Caterpillar D Series machines, from the 216D through the 299D3XHP.

The windshield replacement panel fits the full Caterpillar D Series skid steer lineup and replaces OEM glass part number 345-6230. Mounting holes are duplicated to match your existing door frame. Clear Lexan/Polycarbonate panels are available, along with a tinted option for operators working in high-glare environments. Both are coated for abrasion resistance and carry the same impact strength and weight advantages you get across all our polycarbonate products, approximately 250 times stronger than conventional glass at half the weight.

If the frame itself needs replacing, the complete frame and windshield package includes a 12-gauge powder-coated steel frame with weather stripping, a half-inch polycarbonate windshield in clear or tinted, stainless steel hardware bolted around the door, and a full hardware kit. It's a straightforward path back to a fully functional cab without sourcing components separately.
