It’s important to understand that polycarbonate is not intended to feel or behave like glass. Glass is stiff but can crack or shatter under impact. Polycarbonate is engineered to flex, absorb impact, and resist breakage, which is why it is commonly used as a safer replacement in equipment applications.

This door is made from 1/4' polycarbonate, so some flexibility is normal—especially on a larger panel. Customers who want a more rigid, heavy-duty door should consider 1/2' polycarbonate, which is much stiffer and better suited for severe-duty work such as brush cutting, mulching, demolition, or forestry use.

Perfect Fit for JD 331G

I bought my door ahead of time as I knew I would be replacing my glass door soon on my JD 331G. Well, it finally happened and after the new door from these guys sat in a box for about 2 months it was time to install it. It could not have went better to be honest. I was even able to rebuild my JD single use door release knobs with the help of their video. Everything fit exactly where it should. I literally had no problems at all getting everything installed on the door.
I even ordered the gasket with the door and it fit exactly like i was hoping. Only had to trim a few inches off the end. Highly recommend this door based on price, fit and how quickly it shipped.
