Takeuchi TB228-TB250 Front Lower Glass – Replaces OEM #0378607104
This is an aftermarket replacement for Takeuchi OEM #0378607104 (also written 03786-07104), the lower pane of the two-piece front windshield on Takeuchi TB228, TB235 and TB250 compact excavator cabs. It sits below the opening upper front window.
It is 5mm green-tinted tempered safety glass and 875mm wide × 487mm high (34.45" × 19.17") with no mounting holes.

Tempered Glass vs. Polycarbonate
This is tempered glass, the same material type Takeuchi used for this pane at the factory, not a polycarbonate substitute. Glass holds its clarity and resists the scratching that wipers, dust and cleaning cause on plastic panels. If tempered glass does break, it crumbles into small, blunt pieces rather than long sharp shards. This listing is for the glass pane only. The seal, frame and mounting hardware are not included, so reuse or source those separately. Takeuchi's TB228/TB235/TB250 operator's manual says to lower the work equipment, engage the safety lock lever and stop the engine before removing or installing the lower front window.

No. Sellers list 0378607104 at 875 × 487mm and the TB260/TB280FR front lower 0558604210 at 885 × 500mm. Both are 5mm green tempered with no holes, but the sizes differ.
Can I take the lower front glass out of my TB250 cab?
Yes, the TB228/TB235/TB250 operator's manual covers removing the lower front window. It says to lower the work equipment, engage the safety lock lever and stop the engine before you remove or install it.
Is the front window on a TB228, TB235 or TB250 an emergency exit?
The operator's manual says to open the front window to get out if you are trapped in the cab (except on machines with a front guard). It lists an optional emergency hammer from TB228 s/n 122800611, TB235 s/n 123501067 and TB250 s/n 125000793.
Will 0378601610 or 03586-00076 fit instead?
No. Sellers list 0378601610 as the front lower for the TB070/TB125/TB135/TB145 and 03586-00076 as the TB230 front lower, so they are panes for other Takeuchi cabs.
